Looking to fill in some spare time or a way to volunteer in
your community? The Friends of the Globe
Public Library are looking for some new and enthusiastic members. We are looking for someone who would like to
do a monthly newsletter, also anyone who has strong fundraising abilities, and
we have a few open positions on the Friends board. We are looking for people
who have what it takes to support and lead the Friends in all of our many efforts
to improve our library. Maybe you would
like to help with our online book sales? This would include looking up information on the books and then posting
them for sale online. Volunteers, who give freely of their time, to any cause
they chose to support, are some of the most treasured people in the world. You are welcome to attend a Friends meeting
at any time to meet the members and learn more about what we do to support the
library. We meet at the Globe Public Library on the 4th Thursday of
the month at 5:00pm. For more information feel free to stop in anytime or call
928-425-6111.
