Library Updates
Libraries will begin the process of bringing back services to the public in phases. Please see below the libraries and the services they are able to provide. If you library is not listed, please call them directly to ask any questions.

Globe Public Library: The library is currently closed due to a small remodeling job. Tentative re-opening is scheduled for June 16th. Lunch distribution will continue with pick up times from 11:30 - 12:30.
Call 928-425-6111 if you have questions.

Hayden Public Library: Is open with 1 patron at a time allowed in the library space. The phone line is currently not available- please call 928-402-8768 with any questions.

Miami Memorial Library: Will begin Curb Side service June 2nd - Call 928-473-2621 betweem 2 pm -4 pm Tuesday - Thursday to reserve your books. Books will then be available for pick up in the parking lot the following day between 11:30 am - 1 pm. You must present your library card and no holds will be available. Please return your items to the green book drop outside the from door.

Isabelle Hunt Memorial Public Library: Limited Hours and occupancy & Curb Side Service - Call 928-476-3678 or go online to request your items http://www.gcldaz.org/. Items will be available the same day if they are on the shelf. Reservations for computers is recommended with a 1 hour limit.

Payson Public Library: Curbside and limited, by appointment only, access to computers. Call 928-474-9260 to request up to 5 items once a week or go online at http://www.gcldaz.org.  To make an appointment to access computers please call. Public restrooms will be closed and patrons are asked to wear a mask and remember to observe safety protocols and social distancing requirements. Hours are Monday-Thursday 9 am - 6 pm & Fridays 9 am -3 pm.


Payson Public Library will open June 5th, opening at 10 am and reinstating weekend and evening hours. They will limit the number of patrons in the building to 40 (including staff & volunteers). You will be asked to wash your hands before entering and asked to wear a mask.

Tonto Basin Public Library: The library will return to normal hours, Monday through Friday 8 AM - 4 PM. Only 3 computers will be available for a one hour session. Only 2 people with their own device may be in the building at one time. And the number of people looking for items will be limited. Appointments are also available by calling 928-479-2355.
Please wear a mask during your time in the library and a reminder, restrooms will be closed to the public. 

Young Public Library: Curbside service - Call 928-462-3588 to request items.

Free WiFi is available outside at all our library locations.

Due to the recent Coronavirus (COVID-19) disease, a proactive measure is being taken to reduce the transmission at many of our community libraries. The following libraries are currently closed to help protect our patrons as well as our staff.
