Spice of the Month
Spice of the Month is on Thursday, June 15, at 5 pm. We will be featuring Za’atar. Each month we will be introducing a spice. Each spice will have Basic Information (Description, Origin, Varieties, Flavor Profile, and Nutritional Facts) and one or more recipes. We will have at least one dish to sample made using that spice. Everyone who comes will then be able to pick up 2 tablespoons of the spice to use at home in their cooking. This will grow a spice collection at the library that will be circulated. We do not want you to bring back the spices they are yours to keep, 2 tablespoons will be given at circulation. Limit of one unit of spice per month.
